So Extreme Noise Jasper came along to see Amputated with me. He was feeling it as you can see! The rest of the bands were lame as you’d expect and, weirdly, most seemed to cover Sepultura – Chaos AD though, the worst thing to happen to thrash metal ever. Actually one band did cover Arise so partially redeemed themselves.
The venue was run by Hell’s Angels and they didn’t give a shit about smoking indoors. I didn’t try to take pictures of any of them – I’ve seen the shiner they gave Hunter S. Thompson.

Strangely, I too have an Amputated gig to promote! Tomorrow night in Bristol so if you’re anywhere remotely near and like to pretend you’re not a total bumlord then I suggest you get down there. The other bands don’t look up to much but I’m intrigued by Bunilingus, ha ha! Two pints of Thatcher’s barkeep! Cider I up!
