After the council decided to destroy Laupside on friday, we still managed to have a smaller jam at the “Shot” D.I.Y spot in Fleet. A lot of people came down, gradually through out the day and we still raised £200 toward a new build somewhere else.
There will be another fundraising event in the future… watch this space for detail. We’d like to thank Zero, Chris Pulman, Laup, P.C Ian Munn’s, Dog Bowl, a massive thanks to Deluxe for all the support and a great big hug and thanks to Lovenskate and Kingpin Magazine and Sidewalk.
And a massive no-thanks to the unsupportive and idiotic Rushmoor Council.
Right the Laupside skate Jam is on tomorrow. Get down there, its in Aldershot behind the Police station. There’s a product raffle, best trick in the bowl Comp, loads of product to be won and also you can buy your own Lovenskate / Laupside “Dog Bowl” shirt for a £10. All money raised at the Jam goes to building more .
